Shipping - Pricing Policy

Our policy on shipping costs is to pass on the actual cost of shipping for all Web orders. There is no handling charges and no uplift on these costs. This saving is passed on to our customers on all web orders.

Since we are not in control of the delivery trucks, we can't guarantee your delivery! You can however, use the table below to help determine reasonable delivery expectations. Orders are shipped out of Montreal Canada. We make every attempt to ship within 24 hours however during holiday periods orders naturally take longer. Additional time may be added when the credit card and billing details can not be verified. If you need your order by a specific date you are encouraged to contact customer service to avoid disappointment at info@jouetschoochoo.com.

Delivery days are based on current courier performance. Day of shipment is not included in the count.
Actual days may be greater during Holiday periods.

Please Note:

  • There are no Saturday or Sunday Shipments or Deliveries!
  • Days counted are Business days only
  • No orders are shipped on Canadian Statutory Holidays.
Consumers Responsibility:
 
Please note that it is the consumers’ full responsibility to provide the accurate shipping address. If an order is returned to sender because the consumer has used an incomplete or inaccurate address it becomes the consumers’ responsibility to pay all related shipping fees.

These fees include any amount that the sender pays that is above the amount the consumer paid for shipping (ie, the actual full cost of shipping.) Example: Consumer pays shipping of $12.50 and buyer paid $30 to ship out product. In this case the consumer will be responsible to pay for the difference of $17.50 to the buyer plus the original amount of $12.50 in order to ship out the order again ($30 total)

The order will not be shipped out again until said payment has been made.

If consumer decides to cancel said order after order is returned to sender due to an incomplete or inaccurate address, the sender will refund the order minus above said difference plus original shipping amount. (ie, the entire shipping amount will not be refunded.)

In addition, the consumer will be responsible for any additional amount that may be incurred to the sender from shipping company for the return of the said order.

 

US Destinations:

Please be aware, due to possible delays at the border beyond our control, we cannot guarantee a delivery time to US Destinations. Approximate delivery times are 7-10 business days. Orders to the United States may incur additional duties and/or taxes at the customer's expense. Brokerage charges may be applied by the courier for U.S. bound orders valued over $200. These brokerage charges are payable by the recipient. 

Additional Shipping Charges:

1) Remote destination: For orders going to a Canadian Remote Area, orders may incur additional shipping charges or may be canceled. 
2) Oversized or very heavy items: Such orders may have an additional amount added to your Shipping Fee.

In both cases, you will be notified in advanced and asked to approve any such charges before your order is processed. If the additional shipping charge is not approved your order will be cancelled and your order refunded.

Out of Stock Items
We try to ensure accurate stock counts are available on our webpage at all times. Occasionally stock levels can change very quickly. For this reason an item may be temporarily out of stock even though it has not yet registered on our website. If you require positive confirmation an item you wish to order is available, please email us with the subject heading "Stock availability" and you will have a reply before the next business day.
