The Saguenay Fjord
Born in Canada of Ukrainian parents, Vladimir Horik grew up on the Prairies and in the Rocky Mountains. Nine years in the Canadian army were followed by studies and degrees from the Quebec School of Fine Arts and Laval University. After visiting many countries, he now lives with his family on a forestry farm in Charlevoix, Quebec. His record of achievements include major exhibitions in North America and Europe along with various special projects. His art is featured in a large number of public and private collections worldwide. Art enthusiasts appreciate the radiant colours as well as the subject matter of his paintings.
